The Ummpowered Muslim Doula Training Course is a NEW comprehensive, faith-based program designed to prepare Muslim women to become confident, capable, and spiritually grounded doulas and childbirth educators. Whether you're a mother, changing careers, or completely new to birth work, this course equips you with the tools and knowledge to support women through one of life’s most sacred transitions—while honoring your own values and growth. In sha Allah you will walk away not only prepared to support births and teach prenatal classes but empowered to build a business, serve your community, and contribute to a legacy of compassion, care, and faith-led service. You will skillfully learn to use your heart, hands and voice as an Ummpowered Doula. Who This Course Is For? Muslim women seeking meaningful, spiritually fulfilling work Mothers and caregivers looking to enter birth work on their own terms Women transitioning from corporate or other careers into perinatal support work Aspiring doulas who want to earn income without compromising their deen Practicing doulas who want to expand their skills and confidently serve Muslim clients What to Expect: This training combines modern evidence-based knowledge with Islamic teachings and values to provide a holistic, purpose-driven foundation for your work as a birth doula. You’ll gain: A strong understanding of the birth process, from physiology to emotional support The skills to offer physical, emotional, and spiritual care to birthing families Tools to run a professional doula business that aligns with Islamic ethics Resources to advocate for and uplift Muslim mothers in diverse birth settings Confidence to enter birth spaces with clarity, compassion, and connection This training prepares you to support all types of birth—at home, in hospitals, or birth centers—with compassion and confidence. You'll learn to care for families through physiological births, as well as medically supported or surgical births, including inductions, epidurals, and cesareans. Our approach honors each woman’s unique experience with dignity and support. This course is completed in cohorts and utilizes live interactive sessions (recordings for missed classes are available). Weekly classes are 1.5 hours for 8 weeks and include mentorship & extended new doula support. **Optional in-person workshops may be available for an additional fee Have questions?
